HAND PRINTED KITCHEN TEXTILES FROM PIANO NOBILE

Provide is excited to announce that we will be carrying a new kitchen textiles line by Piano Nobile, a design studio based out of Seattle that creates napkins (sold in sets of two), tea towels and textile trays using all natural, durable, sustainable materials whenever possible.

Each one of their designs is inspired by the sketchbooks of Piano Nobile artists. Featuring different organic/geometric patterns and shapes, these napkins and tea towels are finished with beautifully stitched colourful trims in orange, pink and teal. Their BPA-free melamine trays are perfect for any summer cocktail party or situated on a vanity to hold your favorite jewellery pieces at the end of the day.

So whether you need the ideal hostess gift or a touch of whimsy in the kitchen, Piano Nobile offers the perfect line up of kitchen textiles for spring/summer 2013.

ON OUR TABLE'S NEW BOX SERIES

On Our Table has introduced their new box series for 2013. This new minimalist collection consists of three charcuterie boards; two different fruit boxes, a serving tray and a cutlery box which can also be utilized for storage in the kitchen. On Our Table's focus for this series is to strip individual product categories down to their essential forms to create functional decorative pieces. Each piece is locally manufactured in Edmonton, Alberta using sustainable walnut and then hand finished, bringing out the beautiful natural wood grain. Look for these to arrive soon at Provide.

LIMITED EDITION COLLECTION FROM HEATH CERAMICS

Heath Ceramics has just introduced their new limited edition seasonal collection and we at Provide are anxious to place our order. Inspired by warm-weather hues, the 2011 Summer Seasonal collection focuses on two yellow glazes, one glossy and one matte. As well, a soft white is mixed in on sides of serving platters, cups and vases that reminds one of sandy shorelines. The Spun Vase (bottom) is made in a limited quantity of 150 where the top layer of the glaze is stripped away with an etching tool to reveal the glaze beneath.
