We have been hard at work on the new Provide website and wrestling up all of the images needed has been a full-time pursuit. DESIGNER PROFILE: RINA MENARDI

Rina Menardi's collection of "living" accessories are hand-made stoneware pieces that are characterized by simple lines, organic shapes and exquisite colour – all with nature as their inspiration. Never limited to a single purpose, her creations are at once visually stimulating, unexpected in their proportions and provide a tactile sensation that is able to evoke the deepest of emotions.

Based outside of Venice Italy, Rina's sophisticated and modern work has gained her much acclaim from the global design community and collectors alike. Provide is expecting new arrivals soon from this very special and unique collection.

STINSON STUDIOS WOOD BOWLS

Provide is expecting this week some beautiful wood bowls in various sizes and shapes from Stinson Studios. Each piece is hand-crafted by Don Stinson and his family, from sustainable woods in rural Ontario. We love the purity of these wood pieces and think they make the perfect compliment to a dinner place setting by Heath Ceramics.

PARIS BY DAVID BURNS

From David Burns "Models on the Runway" series of paintings, "Paris", is inspired by a unique perspective into the fashion world and explores his fascination with the supporting structures of the fashion industry.

DESIGNER PROFILE: CHRISTIAN WOO

"Covert" is informed by the sculptural purity of Scandinavian design and Japanese traditions combined with colours found within the West Coast landscape. The series responds to the needs of modern living and work environments through form, function and simplicity. Provide is very pleased to have a selection of pieces from Christian Woo's "Covert" collection now on display in our environment.

DREAMING OF PARIS

It is a rainy day here in Vancouver and it got me to thinking about fall (I know, it is a ways off yet), but the beginning of fall means our annual trip to Paris. In Paris we have our favourite spots to go, but definitely top on the list is to sit on the bank of the river Seine with a bottle of wine, some cheese, a baguette and watch the sun go down. It is truly magical. Can't wait to be there!

COYUCHI TOWELS HAVE ARRIVED

To further compliment our expanding Bath offering, Provide is excited to introduce a new towel collection from Coyuchi that has just arrived. The towels are made for 100% pure organic cotton. Absorbent and luxuriously soft, they drink in water and still dry quickly. The subtle twill weave creates just the right amount of texture and is finished with a simple binding so each towel retains it shape. Provide is stocking the white and ivory colours in the bath sheets, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths and bath mats.

TRUE GRACE CANDLES AND ROOM SPRAYS

Provide has just received our new order from the UK's, True Grace. This candle collection has been a tremendous success for us, and we are excited to offer new scents as well as now stocking selected room sprays. Our favourites for the summer are English Lavender in the candle and Moroccan Rose and Wild lime in the room sprays. In addition to these fresh scents from the Village collection we also have sensuous, richer fragrances from their Manor collection.
