Robert and I recently had the pleasure and privilege of attending the Fall 2013 Dsquared2 Men's show in Milan, Italy. This show was our first fashion show of this calibre and we were absolutely amazed from backstage to onstage to the swarm that surrounded Dean and Dan afterwards.
It was a thrill to go backstage to witness the preparation involved (not to mention the high level of activity) and then to take our seats shortly before start and see the celebrities arrive with the paparazzi quickly to descend upon them – absolutely craziness!
Titled "La Nouvelle Noir" the show was a throw back to the golden age of Jazz remixed with Dsquared2 exquisite tailoring and fashion forward design. Each piece that came down the runway was a must have for the coming season – military, war era looks transformed into sleek, Jazz age suits all with a contemporary, modern edge. The highlight of the show (at least in our books) was seeing all the "cool cats" (models) return to the runway stripped down to their under ware – a new product launch from Dsquared2 of course!
A big thanks and congratulations to Dean and Dan, we loved the show!
