PANTONE'S EMERALD GREEN AT PROVIDE

As some of you may already know, Pantone's 2013 colour of the year is Emerald Green. Provide is pleased to see that some of our suppliers are embracing the vivid radiance of this jewel tone in their latest products.

Green enhances our sense of well being by inspiring insight, as well as promoting balance and harmony. Being the most restful colour to the human eye, Green is an opulent shade associated with wealth and privilege.

Whether in a statement furniture piece such as a sofa, or in a few small accessories such as an Anglepoise task lamp or a Caleb Siemon crystal glass vase, this lush hue will add the perfect amount of sophistication and luxury to any space.

STUDIO BROVHN'S NEW FURNITURE LINE MAKES ITS DEBUT AT PROVIDE

Provide is pleased to announce that we will be showcasing a new furniture line from Vancouver based, Studio Brovhn. Refined details and exquisite materials distinguish Studio Brovhn's new line which consists of three collections: Bridge Table (top image), Planar Bench (middle image) and Hexa Table (bottom image).

Bridge, Planar and Hexa collections share an interplay between exterior and interior; where the exterior is reduced to a few key details, while the inner side reveals more elaborate and unexpected details.

The Studio Brovhn furniture collection is entirely made in Canada with production being a mix of handmade and CNC processes. Wood is FSC certified, ensuring sustainable forestry practices. The pieces are available in solid Ash (white or grey finish) or Oak (white wash or stained walnut). The Planar bench is also available in matt lacquer finish with an optional leather seat cushion (in a variety of colours).

As an exciting addition, Miguel Brovhn (Designer and Director of Studio Brovhn) has just returned from Milan, Italy where he was selected as a winner of the 2013 Emerge Italy Product Design competition. The ceremony took place at the recent Salone del Mobile, where Studio Brovhn will have a chance to display their pieces for the 2014 fair in Milan. Congratulations Miguel!

STURDY'S NEW LIMITED BRASS RIVET COLLECTION

STURDY (the brand has been pared back from Martha Sturdy) has just launched their new website and we are loving the latest collection of pieces in brass featuring a rivet detail.

In signature STURDY style, this collection presents bowls and chargers in epic proportions with bowls 10 inches tall and chargers up to 48 inches in diameter. The 36 inch (not shown) coffee table is carefully executed with riveted seams and castors and is generously proportioned to appropriately demonstrate the intricate details of the finish.

All pieces are finished with a unique combination of patinas developed by Martha Sturdy, which are artistically applied like paint to a canvas. Rather than sealing the brass, the patinas allow the art to evolve over time according to how and where they are used; the lifestyle of the owner determines the final work of art. This "evolving patina" ensures that each piece is unique and the Rivet Collection is thus an elegant expression of interstitial art and design.

The limited Brass Rivet collection is available through Provide. Please visit our website for any enquires you may have.
